Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the Butterfinger pieces, caramel bits, rolled oats, and chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are slightly soft.
  2. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking enhances flavor and texture. Consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder for extra flavor. Homemade caramel drizzled over the cookies can elevate them further.
