  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for aromatic allure
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper a dash of spice
For the shrimp

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika for seasoning the shrimp
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder enhancing the overall taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper balancing the spices
For the pasta and sauce
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup our creamy base
  • 1 cup milk for a luxurious sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese enriching the dish
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano an earthy note to the dish
  • 1 pound penne pasta the perfect vessel for sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Once al dente, drain and set aside, reserving about a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub this spice mixture onto the thinly sliced sirloin steak.
Cooking
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak, cooking for approximately 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Season the shrimp with the remaining paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir on medium heat until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
  4. Add the cooked penne to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat. Mix in the sautéed steak and shrimp.
  5. Plate the dish, topping with extra grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

To elevate your dish, consider marinating the steak for an hour before cooking. You can swap regular penne for whole wheat or gluten-free varieties and add fresh vegetables like spinach or bell peppers during the shrimp phase.
