- Drop generous spoonfuls of the caramel-coated peanuts onto parchment paper. Allow them to cool slightly, but not too much.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over each peanut treat.
- Allow the treats to cool completely until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, consider toasting the peanuts lightly before coating them in caramel. You can mix in a pinch of sea salt for a sweet-and-salty flavor profile. Using pre-made caramel sauce can save cooking time.
