- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Whisk the mixture until the sugar is fully dissolved, creating a rich and creamy base.
- Stir in the cherry blossom syrup and vanilla extract. If desired, add a few drops of pink food coloring.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In the last few minutes of churning, gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
