Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it’s bubbly and golden.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until it melts smoothly.
- Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, cubed chicken, steamed broccoli, and the creamy Alfredo sauce.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top the mixture with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley.
Notes
For optimal flavor, use freshly grated cheeses. Don’t overcook the broccoli; steam until just tender. You can customize by adding other vegetables or swapping chicken for shrimp.
