Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
Assembling the Pie
  1. Pour the chocolate pudding mixture into the pre-made chocolate pie crust.
  2. Layer the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture over the pudding layer.
  3. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and spread to coat.
  4. Garnish with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and fresh cherries.
Setting and Serving
  1. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set.
