Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough into the prepared pizza pan, forming a pizza shape with even edges.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
Topping
- Spread a layer of whipped cream over the cooled cookie base.
- Crumble the chocolate chip cookie dough over the whipped cream and sprinkle additional chocolate chips and optional sprinkles.
- Cut into slices and serve.
