Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Beat in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and egg until well combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Flatten each ball slightly using the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle holiday sprinkles on top.
Baking and Cooling
  1. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges turn lightly golden.
  2. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
