Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Add the chopped dried cranberries, finely chopped pecans, green onions (if using), Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball with your hands.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Once chilled, roll the cheese ball in additional chopped pecans until coated.
  7. Place the cheese ball on a serving platter and serve with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Chill for up to 24 hours for firmer texture and enhanced flavor. Use room temperature cream cheese for easy mixing.
