Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary. You can substitute brown rice or use low-fat ingredients for a healthier option.
