Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 3-5 minutes, until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Set the shrimp aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, stirring it into the buttery garlic. Allow it to come to a gentle simmer and whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Combining and Baking
  1. Add the cooked tortellini and shrimp back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Stir gently until everything is coated.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
