Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef together with the chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef and onions to the crockpot. Add the uncooked macaroni, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir everything well to combine.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 3 to 4 hours until the macaroni is tender and the mixture is creamy.
  2. About 15 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
Serving
  1. Spoon the cheesy goodness into bowls and add sliced green onions or more cheese on top if desired.
