Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Can use frozen chicken, adjust cooking time.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick) For richer flavor, can substitute with olive oil.
  • 5-6 pieces pepperoncini peppers (with some juice) Add more for spiciness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to personal preference.
  • optional Fresh parsley for garnish Adds color and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the stick of butter on top.
  4. Scatter pepperoncini peppers and a bit of their juice on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours until chicken is tender.
  2. Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks, mixing with the gravy.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

For extra flavors, consider adding diced onions or garlic. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
