Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.
Layering
- Spread a thin layer of marinara mixture on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, followed by half of the mozzarella, and a third of the remaining marinara sauce.
Repeat Layers
- Continue layering with the remaining ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella, and top with the rest of the marinara sauce.
- Add any extra mozzarella on top for a golden finish.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the cheeses melt and ravioli are tender.
Serving
- Sprinkle fresh basil or parsley on top before serving.
- Enjoy hot from the crockpot.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding cooked ground beef or Italian sausage to the sauce. You can also sneak in vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for healthiness.
