  • 16 pieces Kalamata olives Rich and tangy.
  • 200 grams Feta cheese Cubed.
  • 8 leaves Fresh basil or mint leaves For added freshness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil High-quality for depth of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice To add brightness.
  • 1 pinch Salt To enhance flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Classic herb in Greek cuisine.
  • 8 pieces Small wooden skewers For assembling the skewers.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs under cold running water and pat dry.
  2. Slice the cucumber into thick rounds.
  3. Cube the feta cheese into bite-sized pieces.
Assembly
  1. Take a small wooden skewer and thread it with a cherry tomato, cucumber slice, Kalamata olive, feta cube, and a fresh basil or mint leaf.
  2. Continue assembling until all ingredients are used, packing flavors into each skewer.
Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and oregano to create the dressing.
Serve
  1. Drizzle the dressing over the assembled skewers or serve on the side for dipping.
  2. Enjoy the skewers chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Optionally, add a variety of colored cherry tomatoes, include roasted bell peppers, or try different herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
