Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Press half of the meatloaf mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over it, then top with the remaining meatloaf mixture.
Glazing
  1. In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture generously over the top of the meatloaf.
Baking
  1. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F/70°C).
  2. In the last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle the French fried onions on top.
Serving
  1. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Mix cheeses to elevate flavor, use yellow and sweet onions for more depth, or freeze shaped unbaked meatloaf for an easy meal. Add fresh herbs for vibrant flavor!
