Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Sauce
  • 1 lb large shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Rich and creamy
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic and pungent
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoky and slightly spicy
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential seasonings
Cilantro Lime Rice
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice Fluffy and fragrant
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Brings depth and freshness
  • 1 lime Juice of Zesty and invigorating

  • Lime wedges for serving For an extra squeeze of flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Add 4 minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until golden and fragrant.
  3. Gently place the large shrimp into the skillet, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  5. Once cooked, promptly remove the shrimp from heat.
Prepare the Rice
  1. In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked jasmine rice with 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro, the juice of 1 lime, and the zest of 1 lime.
  2. Fluff and mix well using a fork.
Assembly
  1. To assemble, use a ring mold or small bowl to layer the cilantro lime rice first and then arrange the garlic butter shrimp on top.
  2. Carefully remove the mold and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For a heart-healthy twist, substitute unsalted butter with olive oil or avocado oil. Ensure shrimp are fresh to avoid rubbery texture.
