Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Add the warm water and olive oil; stir until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Shape the dough into a heart shape and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Topping and Baking
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni, sausage, olives, onion, and bell pepper on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
To avoid a soggy crust, don't overload with sauce. Let dough rest after kneading for better elasticity. Experiment with different cheese blends and toppings.
