Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Assembling
- Prepare the jasmine rice according to package instructions and fluff with a fork.
- In serving bowls, divide the cooked rice and top with beef slices, cucumber, carrots, and green onions.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and finish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
Notes
