  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Melts into a gooey, stretchy delight.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice your French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
Baking
  1. Heap the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese generously over the buttered halves.
  2. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top after baking, slice into pieces, and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra crispy finish, you can broil the bread for the last 1-2 minutes of baking. You can also experiment with different types of cheese or add toppings like sun-dried tomatoes or jalapeños.
