  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko) For extra crunch and texture.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Elevates the flavor profile of the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano For a hint of aromatic, earthy flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Adds a slight smokiness and vibrant color.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped A fresh garnish that adds a pop of color and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Perfect for sautéing the chicken.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Enhances the richness of the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a luxurious, creamy sauce.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Enhances the sauce's flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a dredging station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with the beaten eggs, and the third with a mixture of grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each chicken breast first in flour, then dip it in egg, and finally cover it in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
Searing and Baking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully add the coated chicken breasts.
  2. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they achieve a golden-brown color.
  3. Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Making the Creamy Sauce
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine olive oil and unsalted butter.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add garlic powder and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Stir in the additional grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens to your liking.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. When the chicken is done, carefully remove it from the oven. Drizzle the creamy sauce over each chicken breast, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Use Panko Breadcrumbs for extra crunch; allow the chicken to rest before serving to retain juiciness.
