  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Contributes depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balances flavors.
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Adds a hint of heat.
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter Key for a rich creamy sauce.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Creates a luscious texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Provides an irresistible garlic kick.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in the mixture, pressing down to ensure an even covering.
Cooking
  1. Heat some oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Serving
  1. Remove the chicken from the oven, and spoon the creamy garlic sauce generously over the top. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

Refrigerate the breaded chicken for about 30 minutes before cooking for a crunchier crust. You can also add fresh herbs or lemon zest to the sauce for additional flavor. It’s best to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to maintain moisture.
