  • 1/2 cup canned peach pie filling Bursting with juicy peaches and spices.
For the Glaze
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Creates a creamy texture for the glaze.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Sweetens the glaze.
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Ties together the peach and cheesecake flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir to aerate.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and fold in the peach pie filling until evenly distributed.
  6. Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each well about 2/3 full.
Baking
  1. Bake the donuts for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Glaze and Serve
  1. In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the cheesecake glaze and let excess drip off.
