  1. In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and unsalted butter. Stir the mixture over medium heat until it begins to boil.
  2. Once boiling, let it cook for 1-2 minutes without stirring to allow the sugars to caramelize slightly. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter until it melts and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add in the quick oats, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax or parchment paper.
  6. Allow the cookies to cool and set at room temperature for 30-60 minutes.
