- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef while breaking it up with a spoon until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Divide the mixture into four sections in the skillet. Place a slice of provolone cheese on each portion, covering the skillet to let the cheese melt for about 2-3 minutes.
- Scoop the cheesy beef mixture onto the hamburger buns, then garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
A splash of apple cider vinegar can add unexpected zing. Optional: sautéed mushrooms or a splash of hot sauce for more flavor. Toast buns lightly to prevent sogginess.
