Ingredients

For the cheese bombs
  • 1 can Pillsbury Biscuit Dough (8 count) Fluffy, soft biscuits serve as the heart of the dish.
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Melty and stretchy, adds richness.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Forms the flavorful base of the garlic mixture.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Imparts savory depth of flavor.
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Adds a fresh pop of color.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Brings an earthy essence.
  • 1/2 tsp salt Enhances flavors.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper Adds a hint of spice.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  2. Open the can of Pillsbury biscuit dough and carefully separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit using your fingers or a rolling pin until they measure about 3-4 inches wide.
Assembly
  1. Place approximately 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese into the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese, pinching the dough together to form a ball, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dip each biscuit ball into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring they are well-coated. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
  2. Remove from the oven and brush with any leftover garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding crushed red pepper, different types of cheese, or serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
