  3. Next, add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, and honey. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Fold the cooked rice into the skillet, mixing thoroughly to ensure it incorporates well with all the ingredients. Heat everything through for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, decorated with freshly chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Notes

To elevate your experience, consider marinating the chicken in a mixture of soy sauce and honey for an hour prior to cooking. For extra flavor, add minced ginger or jalapeño. Use a mix of bell peppers for color. If making ahead of time, save garnishments for serving.
