  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder Enhances the flavor profile.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it apart until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough into individual triangles. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll up into a crescent shape.
  5. Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving to enjoy them warm and gooey.

To ensure success, soften the cream cheese adequately before mixing, preheat the oven properly, and be careful not to overcook the sausages or crescents.
