Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until fully cooked and golden brown, draining any excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder, mixing until well blended. If using, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles, placing about a tablespoon of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the crescents from the wide end, tucking the sides in to secure the filling.
Baking
- Place each rolled crescent on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart, and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Serve with ranch or hot sauce for a flavorful dip. Allow crescents to cool slightly for better shape and enhanced flavors. Customize with favorite spices or cheeses.
