Preparation
- Begin by placing the beef stew meat in your slow cooker.
- Pour in the beef broth.
- Add the chopped onion to the mix.
- Toss in the minced garlic cloves.
- Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently with a wooden spoon.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the softened cream cheese and heavy cream to the slow cooker.
Cooking Pasta
- In a separate pot, cook the uncooked pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Final Assembly
- Gently fold the cooked pasta into the creamy beef mixture until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For richer flavor, season beef with salt and pepper before slow cooking. Searing the meat is optional but enhances depth. Mix in cream cheese and heavy cream towards the end for best texture.
