Method
 

Preparation
  1. Generously season both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Once oil is hot, add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  2. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Carefully pour in the bourbon and scrape up any browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme; bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Finishing Touches
  1. Coat the rested steaks with the creamy sauce.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
