Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese together with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the strawberry pie filling.
  5. Sprinkle the dry white cake mix evenly over the cheesecake layer without mixing it in.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter slowly over the dry cake mix.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Once cooled slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother layer. Experiment with different fruits and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
