Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese together with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the strawberry pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry white cake mix evenly over the cheesecake layer without mixing it in.
- Drizzle the melted butter slowly over the dry cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Once cooled slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother layer. Experiment with different fruits and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
