Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions by mixing with water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped fresh strawberries evenly throughout the batter.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. While the cake is baking, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Once the cake is done, let it cool slightly and gently press down on the surface to create 'earthquakes' or cracks.
