  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.

For the Malibu Frosting
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Bring to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sifted for smooth frosting.
  • 2 tablespoons Malibu rum Adds flavor to the frosting.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the frosting flavor.
  • a pinch salt Balances sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, add the hulled strawberries, pineapple chunks, coconut cream, Malibu rum, lime juice, and any sweetener you choose.
  2. Blend everything until smooth and creamy, creating a vibrant mixture.
  3. For the ideal refreshing texture, toss in ice cubes and blend again.
Making the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to beat until fluffy.
  3. Mix in Malibu rum, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, beating until smooth.
Serving
  1. Pour the strawberry piña colada mixture into glasses.
  2. Top generously with a dollop of the Malibu frosting.
  3. Garnish with a slice of fresh strawberry or a pineapple wedge.
