  • 1 cup milk Enhances the creaminess of the casserole.
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables Peas, carrots, and corn mix.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds flavor to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Season to personal preference.
  • 3 cups tater tots (frozen) Golden and crispy topping.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with Monterey Jack or pepper jack for variety.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined and coated in the creamy mixture.
Assembly
  1. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom.
  2. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the meat mixture in a single layer, ensuring coverage over the entire surface.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until bubbling.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce to the meat mixture. Swap in different vegetables based on preference.
