Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Provides a sweet, crispy foundation.
  • 0.25 cups melted butter Binds the crumbs for the crust.
Cheesecake Filling
  • 3 cups cream cheese, softened The base for the cheesecake, rich and creamy.
  • 1 cup white chocolate, melted Adds sweetness and depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar Balances the richness of the filling.
  • 3 large eggs Provides binding and richness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 cup sour cream Adds tanginess and lightness to the filling.
Strawberry Topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Adds freshness and color.
  • 2 tbsp sugar Enhances the sweetness of the strawberries.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the base of a greased springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
  4. Gradually add melted white chocolate, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream until blended.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared crust and bake for 50-60 minutes, until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
Strawberry Preparation
  1. While the cheesecake bakes, combine chopped strawberries with sugar and let sit for 15 minutes.
Cooling & Serving
  1. Once baked, cool the cheesecake completely in the pan before refrigerating for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Before serving, top the cheesecake with macerated strawberries.

Notes

For best results, make the cheesecake a day in advance. Ensure cream cheese is fully softened before mixing. Avoid overmixing to prevent cracks.
